Bridge Jr. team
Who are We
Just as the name explains it all, the Bridge Jr. Team represents the crossing over of young athletes to become a US National Team member. All of the juniors start as novices, but grow as athletes and individuals as a result of rigorous training and discipline. Throughout their training, goals are made and philosophies are reinforced to achieve our ultimate goal of success, to become a part of the US National Team.
USA Shooting (USAS) has developed the Progressive-Position Pistol (PPP) program in order to promote the development of young junior shooters. PPP is the best program for beginners to develop their shooting skills and reach up to as a high competitive level as an Olympic athlete. As a USA Shooting Certified Training Center (CTC), we are advised by and affiliated with USA Shooting and the National Rifle Association.

VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT
Novice shooters start with understanding the basic safety rules when handling firearms and the basics of the marksmanship shooting program. As they start to develop as a shooter and begin to understand the function of marksmanship, shooters can reach the ultimate goal of being a high-level competitor. In addition, the Bridge Jr. Team strives to prepare our juniors to become future Olympians. Not only does intensive training increase their abilities in marksmanship, but also the following life skills: self-discipline, the ability to concentrate, sportsmanship, responsibility, patience, common sense, and most importantly leadership.
USA Shooting recognizes the need to provide United States international style shooting athletes with a broader base of options to pursue their Olympic dreams. To meet this need, USAS partnered with various clubs around the country. The goal is to assist in exposing athletes to the Olympic sport of shooting and to compete in and win international and Olympic competition by providing interested members and shooting enthusiasts with information on clubs and ranges capable of supporting international style shooting.

national junior olympic program
The National Junior Olympic Program provides competitions year-round for shooters to partake in. The program runs matches throughout the country, making it accessible for all interested juniors. Junior shooters are able to participate in state competitions sanctioned by USAS, allowing them the chance to receive an invitation to shoot at the National Junior Olympic Championships hosted by USA Shooting in Colorado Springs, CO. The program serves as an important element of our pipeline development system in promoting the shooting sports. Junior Olympic goals are set to assist the athletes in obtaining national competitive experience for future development. The program also serves as an opportunity to appoint the top finishers to the National Junior Team and runs from fall to early spring.
